I am 39 weeks and 2 days. At my 39 weeks appointment I was not dilated at all. However, since yesterday afternoon I have been having contractions, back pain, vaginal pressure and have been having mucousy discharge. So I'm really hoping the exam may have sparked things to get going! I'm a first time mom, so I have never known when I'm having contractions but now I know just like everyone said I would. I hope I get to meet my baby soon!
