Last name clash ?

Last name Duke both my partner and I love the name Nate but think it might clash. Not to keen on Nathan with Nate as nickname but not out of the question. Opinions please!

My opinion is that Nate Duke are both short names so it sounds a bit abrupt. But Nathan Duke flows nicely and then you can call him Nate. :)

It may not "flow" in the usual sense but I think it sounds cool lol and definitely no one will ever forget his name.. Nate Duke.. it's growing on me actually.

It's almost hard to say - Nate Duke. Maybe Nathaniel Duke or something. Like someone else commented, almost too abrupt. But to be completely honest, you are his mother and if you like it then go for it! I understand getting input but when it comes down to it, you name your child what you want and what you feel is in your heart. Also, you can also think of a cool nickname if your not completely sold on a name. I know so many people simply by their nickname. Best of luck to you and your little bundle of joy! 😊
