Would anyone like to share their Labor pains with me, and how they felt?

I'm only 33weeks and 5days. I'm due February 19th 2017 and will be having my baby soon. I have a high tolerance for pain, my period cramps are horrible. I were just wanting some insight on what type of pain I could possibly expect. This is my first birth so I'm pretty nervous!😩 Second and Third time mothers I would love to hear from you😊

Honestly, as many videos as I watched, stories I heard and books I read, I was not prepared for how powerful contractions were. It is not comparable to even the worst period cramps. Your body is amazing and you will be able to handle it though. Unless you can't, or don't want to. We're lucky there are pain management options.

I have a 3 year old and I'm pregnant with our second! I was around 6 cm dilated when they asked if I wanted an epidural. I can remember the nurse asking if I was feeling the contractions and I told her they just felt like period cramps but didn't bother me as much because it wasn't a constant pain. She told me if I wasn't feeling much yet with how strong the contractions were that I may be able to go without the epidural. I have a really high pain tolerance but of course not knowing what to expect with my first child I told her I definitely wanted the epidural. Unfortunately it ended with a c section. If I could do it over again I don't think I would have gotten one. Every woman is different though!

I honestly think it depends on the woman. I, for one, have an extremely low tolerance for pain, but had a very easy labor and delivery. My mom was with me the whole time and actually couldn't believe how relaxed I was. The pain was not nearly as bad as I had imagined, and on the way to the hospital I kept saying "they're gonna send me home, these can't be real contractions". Sure enough I went in and was 5cm and actually in labor. The nurses were shocked that I was walking around as much as I was, and I held off on the epidural as long as I could. The worst part for me was the second I hit 10cm I could feel it, even with the epidural. The pain went from the front of my pelvis right town to my vaginal region. It hurt pretty bad and made a few tears come to my eyes, but they offered to up my epidural dosage while I waited for baby to descend into the birth canal and had no issues after that. I was most worried for the pushing and even that wasn't too bad.

My first pregnancy I had rolling contractions so I never got a break in between contractions. It was just one long contraction. Worst pain I have ever felt and I always had horrible period cramps. I ended up getting an epidural. It was 6-7 hours of 10/10 pain until I got the epidural.
Second pregnancy I got breaks in between contractions and it was only 1 hour of 10/10 pain. I ended up not getting an epidural because baby came so quick. 
For me period cramps are mostly just located in lower abs. Contractions I felt in my entire abdomen, stomach, lower back and quads.

My contractions were not in my stomach like the movies show. They were in my back and thighs. Every contraction felt like someone was pouring hot oil on my thighs.

I have had three natural births and am pregnant with a fourth baby. Just remember your body was made for this. I have short labor due to the fact i can feel the contractions and work with them. The biggest thing i didnt know on my first baby was that the pain is not constant. You will have a contraction the lasts at the longest for 60 seconds and them get a 2-5 min break in the beginning. My biggest advice is that when you think you cant haddle the pain anymore, that is when its normally time to push. Pushing is nothing to be scared of. Work with the contractions and stop when it hurts. Never just push through the pain! Thats when people tear. My babies were 7lbs, 8lbs, and 9lbs.
