MINI PILL-anyone taking it???

It was between the pill and an IUD, I went with the pill, of course I read (on google) many women for pregnant while on it... that's terrifying lol. I'm breastfeeding so no period yet otherwise I'd know what time of the month to be extra careful.

As long as you actually take it at exactly the same time every day, your odds are much better of it being successful. The failure rate has to calculate in people not taking it as prescribed. I'm terrified of getting pregnant but its my only option, and i'm EBF but already got my period so don't have breastfeeding on my side. Use a back up method if you can, i would if i could!

I'm on it. On my second month and haven't gotten a period. Had a day of light spotting the first week I took it but nothing since. I'm sceptical of it as well but it has 95% success rate If you take within 2 hours everyday which I've done.

I'm taking it but I suck so bad at remembering to take it!! I'm breastfeeding as well and still haven't had a period. I hate that it's not as effective. I'm thinking of trying iud.

I'm on it too cause I'm breastfeeding. I've already had a period. I've never been on BC before. But December I had my normal period and then another one that lasted about 3 days. I gave birth on Oct 11 by c section

I'm on a mini pill because I'm breastfeeding. The choice was between the mini pill , IuD or Nuva ring. I don't have any issues with it except having a newborn- I can forget to take it at a right time and that creates a risk of pregnancy.
