birth control

Okay so I'm 16 and I have the nexplanon implant but I'm not sure how I like it. does anyone have any birth control options that they favor or recommend because Idk if I want to switch or not, also has anyone experienced weight loss with the nexplanon because I've had it for a month and I've lost 4 pounds, not sure if it has anything to do with it but I weigh 106 and I'm trying to gain weight so I hope the implant isn't the problem. I'm kinda against extra hormones being put in my body so I would just use condoms but I'm extremely fertile, just like my mom and when she lost her virginity she got pregnant with me so I'm just taking extra precautions, it's also for her reassurance Bc she doesn't want to be a grandma at 35 😂 anyway what's your favored method of birth control?
