Cerclage anyone?

Just curious to know if anyone has gotten a cerclage done?

I have! I got mine at 20 weeks and I'm now 31 weeks :)

I had one placed at 13 weeks and am now almost 30 weeks. For me it wasn't a great
Procedure and ended up with pelvic floor spasms that required physical therapy. However, I will whatever it takes to keep this baby in for as long as possible

I had a cerclage put in at 21 weeks and have to stay on bed rest until little man is here.

I just got a preventative one placed last Friday at 12 weeks. I first had an epidural then they gave me something that made me fall asleep, so I didn't feel a thing. I felt crampy after and had some spotting for only that day. I pretty much stayed in bed until Monday/ Tuesday but other people recover more quickly. It's more uncomfortable than it is painful but now I really don't feel it at all. The plan is to remove at 36 weeks!
