Unquenchable thirst bleeh

Thirsty, I'm drinking so much water but it seems its not enough! My mouth and throat get so dry I feel like I am choking. I woke up last night coughing, and had a die throat in the morning. What should I do? I'm scared, idk if my baby is getting enough liquids. Is this normal?
