just need to vent....

So last night I let my SO go out to the bar with one of his guy friends..he said he'd be gone for a few hours so it wasn't a big deal to me. I'm not controlling at all. I fell asleep and woke up around 2am he still isn't home so I texted him to see where he was at. Half hour later no response...so I preceded to call his phone. 3:30 am rolls around and still no answers. I'm worried sick and just want to make sure he was ok. Come 4:15 in the freaking morning he finally answers the phone (30 missed calls to him later...yes I am that person). Turns out he went out and got completely sloshed and went back to his buddies house but conveniently didn't hear his phone or check it. He has his phone on him 24/7 when we are together. Am I in the wrong to be mad at him? I'm sorry I'm livid. Had to go pick him up at 4am because he was too drunk to drive. I'm not mad he had a good time I'm pissed he didn't let me know he was okay or where he was at. Any of you ever deal with this crap? Am I wrong to be mad....?
