What size of diapers did your Newborn use?

Trying to stock on diapers. Did newborn diapers fit your newborn baby? I know this baby will be a lot bigger than my last but not quite sure what size to get. So far I got a few packages that are newborn but it seems too small I think? Idk it's been awhile since I had a baby lol

I remember only using a few small packs of newborn before moving onto size 1. My son was 7 lbs. it does tell you on the pack the average weight that babies fit into the size. They grow quick! I only bought 1 pack of newborns and a few size 1 this time. If you have a bigger baby they may skip the newborn size.

My son was born at 37 weeks and didn't fit in newborn dipears, thank god I listen to my parents and stocked up on bigger sizes

We have mostly used cloth since 1 week old but I did just have her in newborn size dispodables at 4.5 weeks for a day and they seemed like they were getting too tiny... but maybe I'm just used to the puff of cloth. I'm a FTM so I have nothing to compare to. She was born at 8 pounds and was 9.5 at her appointment a week before I had her in disposables. We have a mix of pampers and huggies newborn size.

Newborn pampers say up to 8 lbs and the size 1 says 8-14 lbs so I only got 1 box of each you don't know how big your baby is till he comes out

My baby was 6lb 9oz when born so we used NB for a few weeks.

Mine used NB for almost 2m, but I don't recommend stocking up. You will quickly find some suck, leak, baby is allergic to etc. Buy gift cards and set aside instead of buying a bunch of diapers.

Don't stock up on too many because baby may out grow a certain size quickly. Keep receipts if you do. My nb was in size nb diapers for a couple weeks then went to 1's. take home the diapers from the hospital too. Usually have a couple packages.

I bought one box of newborn and I'll be surprised if I even get through it, I'm pretty sure my first was in size 1 by at least two weeks
