I asked a friend if I could share for her!

I am a mom of 3 kids, 2 of which have autism. Today I write to you about my sweet 11yr old who not only has autism but also has Tourette's, so I know he is viewed differently by his peers. I am asking for your help. He has no friends and it makes me so very sad. He wants nothing more than to have a party with friends but there is no one to invite & it makes him & me sad. He mentioned the other day that he wished he has never been born (we are looking into therapy & a possible mentor). As a mom it broke my heart to hear him say this & concerning.

He has had one party back when he was in 2nd grade but since then his birthdays have consisted of just his bothers & grandparents & myself & his dad. Money is tight & I'm so afraid to rent someplace just to have no one show up or maybe I don't want to see him cry.

He doesn't get invited/included in play dates or other parties. We've asked if he has friends and he gets a sad look on his face.

My son will never know what it's like to look out at a table full of gifts. 😞

But just maybe I can surprise him with a table full of cards for his birthday.

Can you all help me? Maybe just drop a birthday card in the mail to let him know that he is special? Or even just make a card? I know that this will really make his birthday so very special. His birthday is St. Patrick's Day so I would like to surprise him on Saturday the 18th with cards.

This would mean so very much to him (and his mom.

You can address the cards to me and put attention to Gage. (because he's a minor & he doesn't have the same last name I wasn't comfortable with his last name out there)

Thank you to all for reading.
