Hi ladies, I am approximately 4 weeks 5days pregnant. This is my first pregnancy. I have my first appointment scheduled for just after 8 weeks. I was surprised they aren't having me do ANY blood work to check my HCG levels or anything. I have read other women talk about others getting checked as soon as they got their BFP and knowing their HCG leveks. So my question is, is it normal to not get blood work done until 8 weeks or should I be asking my doctor to check my levels so make sure they are appropriate for how far along I am??
