This past weekend my biological father (who I haven't seen since I was about 2) messaged me on Facebook about some family history I needed to know. I asked what kind of family of family history and he said huntingtons disease 😭. Him and my grandmother found out in October and November of 2016 that they have it. My grandmother started showing signs a few years ago and is 69 and he hasn't started showing any signs and he is 45. I am on the fence of getting tested to see if he passed the gene down to me. I'm really only on the fence because I have a 8 month old and we are TTC now! What would everyone else do or dose anyone have any experience here?!
