Uhg! So my cousin has 3 kids,2 from the same guy who she hadn't seen for 11 yrs. 1 guy pays child support for his 5yr old daughter,my cousin blows it on going out and buying herself somthing with it. Her 5yr old daughter came to my house in shoes that were way to small and beat up,I had to buy her pair because she said her toes hurt😥. Last yr she ran into the other guy who father's the 11yr old boy and a 13yr old girl. Apparently they ended up at a bank together and she saw that he had close to $250,000 in his account.She was pissed and took him to court for back child support. I supported her decision to take him to court because the 2 eldest have lived a life of poverty and deserved every penny. Anyways,about 5 months ago she received a check for $60,000. $30,000 per child. In the meantime she's been spending the money. She bought a brand new Cadillac a new 4 bedroom home ,she's bought herself designer clothes and bags,all new furniture,tvs and appliances. Her two eldest were at my house a few weeks ago looking ragged in old clothes when she dropped them off to go party! Not to mention her kids hardly ever lived with her,they bounce around from family members. I asked her nicely if she planned on putting money aside for the kids College and she laughed and said "they better get a scholarship"!!!! She is blowing through her kids money on things that are not necessities.She had a car and an apartment. I do agree on her moving out of the bad neighborhood the kids grew up in but honestly theirs no way she will be able to pay rent in her new home after the money is gone.Uhg,is their someone I can talk to about this so she doesn't blow through the money,her kids deserve the money and a good college education! Or should I keep my mouth shut and let her blow it?
