This guy and I really like each other, but his parents are extremely conservative Muslims. He's tried talking to them several times about dating outside his race/religion, but they've completely shut him down each time, threatening to cut him off. Last night he tried talking about me specifically, and they once again shut him down and were very hostile about it. He's 26 and I'm 22. I really like him, he's amazing, but he doesn't want me around this super negative environment. He doesn't want us to get really far into our relationship and then have to break up because of his parents. I don't know what to do, I'm devastated, and he is really upset about it.
