labor before scheduled c section?

Has anyone went into labor before scheduled c section?

I am having twins and am scheduled for csection on the 19th of January..next week..I was at Labor and Delivery with major contractions and back pain..they checked and I was at 4 cm dialated..I completely thought I'd be staying but after being monitored for two hours with no dialatiin change I was sent home..I had contractions for about 4 hours after I left hospital,so stressful..they have since calmed down so I guess we shall see..I just want to make it tell next Thursday..lol
