QUESTION: Dopplar Heartbeat
Hey everyone! So I'm 9 weeks 5 days and my husband and I got to hear a heartbeat for the first time yesterday when our midwife using a dopplar. She found a heartbeat pretty quickly on the far left side right next to the inside edge of my left hip bone. She had it for a solid 45 seconds and it started to fade and she lost it. She looked around in the same area for and couldn't find anything solid because of my own heartbeat. Just for grins she moved the dopplar all the way over to the inside edge of my right hip bone (at least 6 inches) and found a heartbeat loud and strong. She looked so shocked!
My Husband is now convinced we are having twins, but I'm not so sure... Has anyone else experienced something like this? Can a baby at 9 weeks move that far in less than 30 seconds? Help me ladies!
Ultrasound will be next week!
