Has anyone every been cheated on and decided to stay and work on your relationship??

Nope. They cheat. I'm done. I don't play games. If I'm holding up my promises and they can't do something as simple as not cheating, they are not worth my time, emotions, or promises. So no. I would never try and work it out with a cheater no matter the circumstances.

Yeah, and it was a mistake. He just cheated more and got even worse. Always lied about things and he was very verbally/emotionally abusive and manipulative. He blamed everything he did on me.

I would never ever stay with anyone that would cheat on me. It shows me that they never really cared or loved me. It's not worth my time to try and fix it.

No!! I was betrayed in the worst possible way by my ex husband, and I will NEVER trust a cheater. There's a piece of you that dies inside, and will never be the same after being cheated on. I personally don't believe its ever worth it to work it out. You will always be suspicious in the back of your mind. For the sake of your mental health, I say never go back to a cheater.

I've been cheated on 3x - relationships of 2-3 years and 2 engagements and I didn't give or ever think of ever Staying with a cheater. Growing up around men who were dogs to their wives (my dad, grandpa, uncles, seeing the pain In my mother or the women they "loved" made me promise myself since I was little that I would never put myself through that ) i am now married, I always like to warn my partners that if they ever were to fail me they'd be done . No forgiveness . Once a character always a cheater never seen it differently

Yes and it did not end well. Everyone's experience is different -- mine was traumatic. No one can say for sure how it turns out. I would never do that to myself again. Ever. Thankfully, I met my husband shortly after that experience, and he has given me the best 7 years of my life so far. He's wonderful. I wish the best for you if you are in this situation! ❤

YES, and this is probably the most confusing and tricky thing to deal with because you can never say it's always no you won't try or always yes you will keep trying. i was dating my ex for a year and a half when it happened. Before I continue, we were long distant and saw eachother ever 3 months for a couple weeks and we got from the week before thanks giving till a week after the new year to be together. We talked constantly and had been through a lot emotionally, so our relationship was strong, just hard to always find time due to we were both in school and dealing with Life! Anyways! He ended up cheat with OUR best friends Ex (we had all the same friends, it's how we met, and of course she is the one girl I always hated) at first all we could do wa text and call about it due to the situation. We were in a weird spot, and I decided I rather do it ftf (always do ftf) and he was coming home in les then a week, (PERFECT TIMING!!) we yelled/fought/ cried blah blah blah. When he came home we spent basically the entire time together.  In the end we decided to stay together, made promises, all the good stuff. Now the only bad part was it became the only thing i thought about and it made me paranoid and extremely depressed. It would cause fights and what not and panic attacks (seriously if you're someone who can't trust well and things make you paranoid just don't try it, unless you are 100% sure) we become an on and off again couple, we both looked into other people and admitted it. Eventually I decided it just wouldn't work. Which it seems bad but to this day, we may no talk much but I know I have someone That knows the real me, won't judge me, and can be good friends with. So I guess the moral is, sometimes it's best to end it, but do it on good terms and if you don't end it make sure you are 100% confident in your decision so you aren't daring in fear and paranoia

I did! I was 16 and the time and he was about to turn 18... we broke up for like 6 months and eventually got back together. we've been together for 5 years now and trying for a baby.
