can I eat sandwich paste?

I know we can't have pate but can we eat the sandwich paste you get in those small jars?

What's sandwhich paste? Like butter or mayo? You can eat that stuff, but it would likely be better in a sandwich rather then alone.

Omg I would love some of that just now, but the salmon one. Not sure if we should eat it OP but it's cooked etc so should be fine.
