I went to see my midwife today to get swabbed for strep B i believe its called, but i thought i lost my mucus plug so she decided to check my cervix. I am 37 weeks tomorrow. Well anyway i did lose my plug and she said im 50% effaced and 2cm dialated! Been having lots of cramping but nothing consistent like contractions are. Just wondering how long before i go into actual labor? I had thought being dialted ment you were in labor but i guess i could still go a week or so longer?? Im so ready for baby and just want her here now!! And now knowing im dilating makes me so much more impatient!!
