If sex can speee up the process of going into labor... i read yes but need more opinions.... currently going on 37 weeks and I can't take this anymore 😞😞 lol My back is going to give up on me

When I had my 37 week appt, my dr said go for it, if hubby is up to it.  Something with the semen softens the cervix. And the orgasam can help start contractions.  She said she recommends sex and walking more than the "home remedies" like the teas and food.

Semen has proteglandins in it that helps ripen the cervix. I'm not sure that it makes you go into labor sooner than your body wants, but it's supposed to help your cervix be ready.
