What do you do with you Babies?

Question

What do you do with your baby when you're home alone and need to shower but your 8 month old baby is into everything!? She hates being contained in anything like the jumperoo, bouncer, crib. She wants to crawl around and play. So she cries if I leave her stuck somewhere for too long. Any solution or am I stuck waiting until she naps or dad is home?

I take her in the shower with me lol. I sit her down on the floor of the shower and give her a cup to play with and she stays quite content. When I am done washing myself, I sit down in the tub and turn it into bath time  for her! Two birds, one stone lol.

My baby sits in her high chair and I take her in the bathroom with me. I sing to her in the shower while she plays with toys :), she likes the sound of the water running

If I'm home alone and need to shower I'll sit him in his jumperoo and turn cartoons on. He doesn't really care for the jumperoo anymore, he'd rather stand next to it and shake it. BUT if I need to shower he just has to deal with it.  I do try to take quick showers (2 in 1 shampoo, no shaving).... I figure he can handle being in that thing for 5-10 mins.

I try to aim to shower during her nap time or I'll bring her sit and play in the bathroom and put her in it. How is the baby in the high chair? Maybe the high chair in the bathroom with some toys on the tray

I Put him in his jumper and put on Fisher Price laugh a and learn cartoons from YouTube. He loves them. But if he cried he would just have to deal.
If you need to go poop or shower, you just need to be ok with it. At this age, they're starting to associate patterns and your responses to certain behavior. This is about the time they'll learn to play you. So you kind of have to be a bit more firm but flexible.

I either put my little guy in his bouncer and watch him by camera from my phone or put him on the floor and shut the door (I have a glass shower) so I can entertain from there.

UPDATE ON MY SHOWER: I let her play with the bathroom door open since it looks directly into her play room, with the baby gate up. She climbed it. And ripped the shower curtain down. Lol. But I was done by that point anyway. HOWEVER, I was nice and clean and gave her the last bottle before bed and when she was done she exorcist vomited all in my hair and it ran down my back and legs. So now I've got take another shower. 😫 And I'm also thinking she might have the tummy bug that has been going around in our area. Great!
