Could you get a false positive on a opk? X

PCOS persons are told not to use opks because  they tend to have high amount of LH in their systems. Which normally gives  a positive opk even when they are not ovulating. Also sometimes your body gear up to release an egg and it doesn't. That is why they say when using opks it's best to bbt chart to confirm if you actually ovulate. Yes but we need more context for your situation. When I was on clomid I got about 4 days worth of false positives.
