co sleeping in bed?

Question

How many people bring their baby into their bed at some point in the night/ early morning?  Our little one usually comes into our bed around 5:00am and sleeps until 7:30.  Once brought in she will keep squirming and inching closer until she is laying on her side up against me instead of staying on her back fully.  This makes me a little nervous but my face is like 4 inches from hers (we sleep face to faces) and feel like I'm pretty in tune with her even though I doze back off.  Thoughts?

There is safe cosleeping. Mines been sleeping in my bed since two weeks and she's now two months. So much easier to feed and change during the night. I also have owlet for a little more peace of mind. I face toward her never move an inch once I fall asleep. It's that or we're up all night! I've got a ton more sleep and feel awesome. To each their own but definitely only do it if you are comfortable and know how you sleep.

We bed share. I know it is not the most popular choice around, but he does not sleep in his bed. Once in a rare while we get him to go in his bed for a few hours. He has been in bed with us from the beginning, he is now two months old.

This is how we've slept since we came home from the hospital. It's been ideal for us. My brother and I both co slept and my husband did as well so it was a no brainer for us.

My little Buddha sleeps next to me on a changing mat on the floor (vacuumed at least once if not twice a day). I am sleeping on the couch right now next to him. I only let him sleep in the crook of my arm if he's super fussy or if it's day time because I feel like I stay more alert sleeping during the day.

My little man has slept with me since he was born.  For the first couple weeks he slept on my chest.  Now he sleeps on the bed next to me on his side facing me at my nipple and I sleep with my arm scooped around him.  This is how we sleep the best.  If I try to put him in his own bed he sleep grunts all night long and moves around like a crazy person.

I have been cosleeping since we came home from the hospital. My son will do the same thing and somehow inch closer to me until our noses are basically touching. I love it! 😊 I hardly sleep because my senses are on high alert but I love watching him!

I might get some mean comments but I really couldn't careless. My baby sleeps in my bed with me she has her own section in the corner and I have mine. I check up on her throughout the night and never have we come across a problem. I would do it as long as you do it safely. Xxx

For the most part my daughter sleeps on her own, but some nights when she's extra fussy I bring her into bed with me and she falls right to sleep in my arms. In the beginning she slept with me much more. But I find I sleep much lighter when she's in bed with me so if she'll sleep on her own I prefer it for now. But it's your choice as a parent. As long as you're careful about it do what works for you and your baby. :)
