Any recommendations for Glucose Test?

Hello! I have my 1 hour Glucose Test tomorrow. Any recommendations?

The test is at 9am so the doctor gave me the drink to take home 1 hour before the Blood Draw. She said I don't have to be fasting... but I want to make sure I don't eat anything that effects the results negatively.
 
What did you eat before your screening? Did you pass it?

I had a small omelette and passed with an 84. I have to agree with what some others have said, the drink was nothing like I expected. It tasted just like orange soda. Right before the draw I could feel my blood sugar start to fall though. I've heard that not eating will more than likely make you sick. I'd go for something with little sugar and lots of protein. I ate one piece of wheat toast with peanut butter about 2 hours before and I passed.

I ate what I normally eat for breakfast !! An egg sandwich with a banana and a glass of milk. I passed !!

I had a small egg with peppers, sausage and onion and drank a lot of water. I stopped drinking an hour before the test. I passed with a 97

Sweetie, I did my 2nd glucose test this pregnancy yesterday. They had to of changed the mixture because when I drank it this time around it didn't get me sick at all. Truthfully it tasted just like orange soda. Big difference from my 4 1/2 month glucose test. IDK if they changed it everywhere though. I live in Western Maryland
