Would you want your mother in the delivery room with you and your husband ?

I've been thinking about having my grandmother with me as well as my husband, but honestly I don't think I will. I love my grandmother but she annoys the hell out of me, I couldn't guarantee I won't be mean to her during labor so I'm not risking it. Lol

Me and my husband both want my mom there. She is always the for us and she will help me through labor in a way my husband can't because she had been through it before. My husband will be there for love and the daddy things, my mom will be there to keep me sane and potentially act as a mediator if me and my husband don't know how to act as this is our first child...

I don't know, sounds goofy saying out loud, but it's important to both of us. We have both always been the more the merrier type as well when it comes to family, so I am sure that has affected our decision.

It's never even been an option in my mind to not have my mum there. She's my best friend, I talk to her every day, she's been with me in one way or another every single step of this pregnancy and the years trying to conceive. Luckily my husband just thought it was a given aswell and didn't disagree. We both think it'll be a great help having her there to talk us both through what's going on, since this will be our first labour and delivery, and to support us ❤️

I've already decided I want my SO and my sister. Mom would drive us crazy stressing out over everything. Her two pregnancies where difficult so she just assumes I have the same issues. Lol I love her with all my heart but I need my sisters cool logic and low stress attitude plus when hubby gets silly or annoying she'll have him toe the line.  Haha

A part of me does but my husband doesn't. The two of them don't get along and don't want to be in the same room together. My aunt offered to be there and I would love for her to be but ik it would hurt my mom's feelings in the end. Not sure what to do. Probably just keep it as me and my husband but it would really be nice to have the extra person for pictures.

My mom and my fiance were both in the delivery room. My mom helped by holding one of my legs up, my fiance cut the cord and took a bunch of pics. I'm sooooo greatful and happy that my mom that gave birth to me AND my fiance -that made my life so wonderful,  were both there to experience,  help and put me at ease

No. But my boyfriend's mother was there and I am extremely thankful for her. She's the mother I never had.

I love my mom but I created this child with my husband and I want that moment between us only. I want her before and after but in the waiting room with everyone else who's family.

I would but she thinks its gross- her sister is going to be there to help keep me focused- i was alone with my husband the first time and he was bo help- he was on his phone thw whole time as i lay there in the fetal position with my eyes closed focusing on the pain and not on breathing or anything else but how much i hated it.
