sleep training.. need help!

My baby Is one week old and is a healthy happy baby. She sleeps well during the day, but night time is a different story. She only sleeps at nights if she's being held in our arms. We've tried her bed, bassinet, rocking chair etc. all works great during the day but at night she cries nonstop if she's not sleeping in our arm meaning we're up all night. Any suggestions??
