After being 4 cm dilated, 95% effaced, and with baby at a station of 0 for almost a week we decided to induce by amniotomy and a small amount of pitocin. We walked into the hospital at 10am. I was given pitocin at 10:30ish. My doctor broke my water at noon. I got an epidural at 12:45. I went from 4 to 7 cm by 1 pm. By 4:45 I was ready to push. She was out before 5:30. I am a FTM. I couldn't feel a thing with the epidural but I could still move my legs. Perfect birth.
