11yr old daughter & period
My 11 year old step daughter started her period about almost a year ago and just recently became a heavy bleeder when before it was more of a calm flow and spotting.
I love and adore her but I hate to say that she is the laziest child I've ever met, yes, I know children can be lazy but she's over the top and not just lazy she's also very forgetful and doesn't keep pads on her without reminder and has to be told to change her pad if we notched she hasn't when a few hours have pasted, I'm also worried that she doesn't change it while in school for the day. I was taught to roll my used pads up in toilet paper before tossing in the trash can so I'm teaching the same to her but she doesn't do it so the pads full of blood are just chilling in the trash can to be seen. Also, she somehow gets blood everywhere, the toilet seat I understand but at least clean it up but the sink and light switch I don't understand.
Advice on how to go about this. I'm worried that when she'll turn 15, 16+ that I'll still have to remind her of these things which I shouldn't have to but if so, so be it.
