Scheduled to be induced.

Went in for my 37 week appointment today everything was normal at the end of the appointment we sat down and discussed being induced because he doesn't like anyone being going past the due date. So I'm scheduled to be induced at 39+1. Anyone's else have a obgyn that does this instead or allowing it to happen naturally?
