Has anyone else had to do a glucose test after their due date?

This whole thing seems so pointless, Ive had two x 2hr glucose tests done earlier in this pregnancy, both came back perfect results, no Gestational Diabetes at all. My due date was 2 days ago on Wednesday, Im booked in to be induced next week on Friday, and now they've decided I should do Another Glucose Test today. 🤔 Isn't it abit pointless at this point?? I truly don't see why I'm having to a 3rd test when the first 2 were perfect results and I'm past my due date and the induction date is already booked for next week.
