As much as people like to deny it, it's been proven that "prettier" people are more likely to succeed with only a little effort. Those who look good physically, usually have more confidence which will help with jobs and overall impressions. They also usually get more opportunities based off of their looks because they look like they can take care of themselves well and perform better. People also treat them differently and like they're going to succeed more, then self fulfilling prophecy comes in and lends a hand. It's also easier to find a partner. Being "prettier" can also make things harder by people not thinking they're capable of much simply because they don't look like it, or as if they're more focused on their looks more than anything. Or they won't make as many friends because people find them intimidating. There are definitely more benefits than drawbacks though. It just depends on how things are looked at.

I'm afraid that my insecurities have made me who I am, and why I care so much about other people. I don't want people to go through bad stuff because I know how it feels, ya know? I feel like if I had been "prettier", school might have been easier but I wouldn't be who I am now. I'm afraid I wouldn't like that person anymore. lol does that make sense? 😅

Probably only bbecause i wouldnt be as insecure. People tell me im pretty but i don't see it ive always thought i was the ugly friend lol
