Going to be INDUCED!!!
Ok ladies, I have some fun news!!! Found out from my doctor yesterday that I'm going to be getting induced on the 5th of February!! So nervous and excited to meet my son!!
And the reason for my inducement is that I tested positive for Strep B and the med that they gave me with my daughter will no wonder work since I have grown a resistance to it. They have to give me this new med with the dosing going off of weight. It's also very important for the drug to be in my system for an hour before things start moving as far as baby goes!!
So the plan is, get to the hospital at 7pm the 5th, start IV with meds, do a blood draw and then put a pill on my cervix to start things moving!! And it won't be Cervidil that is used. Cervidil can be removed if need be, the one I will be having placed CAN NOT be removed once it's placed!!
Gah!!! So nervous!!!!
