I brought baby boy to the dr on thursday. He seen an NP. So heres the deal hes been screaming and pushing till red when pooping. Its happened every night for about a week now. His poop is not hard but watery so i dont get why he's straining and screaming. I told this to the NP and she said this is normal and because its only happening once a day its ok. That he needs to contact his abd muscles but loosen his pelvic muscles on his own in order to go. Hes 3 weeks old and it breaks my heart to see this and ifind what she said to be BS. She didnt even tell me how to help him. Im pretty pissed my poor baby is in pain when going poop.
