40 weeks and pink spotting?

Normal? 
I hate calling my dr over things that are painfully obviously normal! It's very minimumal and not thick (so I doubt it's my plug).
Last night I thought I was having contractions (about 4 an hour) but then they stopped. I had a few wake me up through the night, but nothing consistent, and then none today so far. 
Baby is moving and seems to be fine.
Anyone have any experience or knowledge on this? Is labor soon? Please oh please let labor be soon! Today's her due date!!

Probably mucus plug it is time for baby to come out of her/his comfy home. Give Dr a call you might've supposed at the fact that your actually in labor

Could be the start of your bloody show. Not everybody gets it. You could just call and talk to a nurse and tell her what's been going on and all that and ask what she believes it is and depending on other things happening if it's something to keep track of or come in for.

I had a little bit of pink discharge a few weeks before giving birth. :) My baby was fine! Big and healthy, no complications. Idk what it was but it did go away. If anything changes and you become concerned, definitely don't be afraid to call the doctor. It's what they're for.
