Tips for pumping/ how to stop supplementing

How do you ladies pump when your LO is awake? Sometimes I will pump when my 2 month old is asleep but then she wakes up wanting to nurse and after pumping it seems like she can't get anything out. I've also tried pumping after she nurses and I only get maybe half an ounce from both breast ( she usually will take about 4oz from a bottle so I'm assuming that's how much she's drinking or more ) I always have trouble nursing around the same time of day and that's when I have to supplement with formula, I still let her suckle for about 30 minutes or more until she starts fussing too much I'm hoping my breast will make more milk and catch up but it's been over a month I'm not sure what to do, I only need about 4oz of pumped milk to get her off the formula.
