I was raised by a single mother and I am one of four! I loved it. Yes it was busy, but you have a house full of love. If you don't think you could handle more, stick with two. Better raise two up right than overwhelm yourself! But if you desire a slightly bigger family, know that three is not a crazy big family at all :)

I'm the youngest out of 3 daughters and I feel like my sisters leave me out a lot which is why I had a brother to hang out with and be close to. I have an abusive manipulative sister than brainwashes my other sister so I don't speak to them often. That's from a child's perspective. It may be more of a load but if everyone is together and happy it will be great. More company (:

I feel like 2 would make things more "even". I'm 1 of 3 girls and there would always be someone left out when we were growing up. But, other than that it was awesome having 2 sisters.

I'm 1 of 5..sure, they were obnoxious growing up..and sharing rooms and bathrooms but I wouldn't trade it for the world!! Now, I'm 26 and I LOVE having a lot of siblings!! I always have someone to talk to,, always have someone that's just there! If I could handle more than 2 kids..I'd go for 4!!

My parents were both one of three and both the odd ones out (mom with two brothers, dad with two sisters) so they really wanted an even number so it was a more naturally paired "instafriend". They even spaced us to make it more likely with a bigger gap between #2 and #3.

Plus, dividing things into 3 is harder than 2 or 4

3 makes it harder for vacations because a lot of standard hotel rooms only allow 4 people. (That is the only reason I can think of, lol).
