Here's my thoughts on why men should get the procedure. As women, we carry the children for nine months, go through hours of tiring and exhausting labor, and then we push a human fucking baby out of a ten centimeter hole. As women, we forget what we go through and we go on to have 2, 3 or sometimes 6 kids! Each time we give up our bodies for almost a whole year to create this new life to grow our families. The LEAST my husband can do to show his gratitude is take 20 minutes out of his day and get snipped so that after years of me strategically preventing pregnancy, I know longer have to worry about it. So yeah, he will most definitly be getting the vasectomy and I'll sit there and hold his hand as he did for me when I pushed out our three watermelon sized babies!!!

I don't want to be on birth control anymore. My husband is comfortable with the idea of a vasectomy. But I would never pressure him to do something to his body he didn't want to do. We've discussed it, but I'll wait for him to bring it up when the time comes and make the appointment.

Once our twins are born, my SO will be getting it done. I'm allergic to birth control and rather than risk having more kids than we actually want, he volunteered to get a vasectomy. However, he has several friends that have already had one to help him with the decision.
