what does it feel like when your water breaks??

Okay so I'm 29 weeks and sometimes randomly after I take a shower or after I get up from relaxing I just like pee myself... with no warning, with no peeing sensation, nothing, and it's usually after I have got pee so it's not like I NEED to go. So I get a little freaked out but baby moves and nothing else happens so I assume it's me peeing myself because of whatever I go to my OB every week because I'm HR so nothing is going wrong...

But, what does it feel like when your water breaks? How much liquid comes out? What happens after ( for the women who don't have contractions first)? 
I'm just wondering if this is going to be an obvious thing, like oh shit my water just broke or if I'm going to be questioning if I peed myself...

Some people trickle and some gush. I was told to put a clean pad on and sit for 30 minutes. If I get anything getting up to go get checked.

With my first, in the last 2 weeks, I was dripping water down my legs and I'd go and have it checked and it would be negative. It happened a couple of times and I was having prodromal labor signs.
When I finally went into active labor, they broke my water in the hospital and it was a huge unmistakable gush.
I was told that I needed to go get checked every single time I suspected it though because some people have a "high" tear or the baby's head might be locking it.

Nurse told me that if I'm unsure between water and pee, put on a dry liner/pad and stand up/move around, if it gets soaked again then it's most likely water

You can ask your ob for a swab test to see if the fluid is amniotic if you are concerned but I'm sure it's fine ! Baby probably just like to hug your insides lol

It is most likely just water from the shower that happens to me sometimes. When your water breaks it will continue to leak and you won't be able to hold it in like you can with pee 🙂

It depends on how your water breaks. If you just rupture your membranes it will be like a continuous trickle. Put on a pad and if you soak it in less than an hour you need to go get checked. If your water completely breaks it will be a huge gush.
