when did you start shopping????

When did you start shopping for your little one??? Im 6 months and my SO family says we should wait im due May 11 so im confused on when they want me to start... i already got some stuff just little things that she's going to need.

I started buying little things (like cute outfits) for my son as soon as I found out I was expecting lol. I had his "major" items and nursery set up by 8 months ( I was anxious about being ready if he came early). I honestly don't think there is a "perfect" time to get everything for your baby; you should do what makes you feels comfortable.

I'm not speaking from experience as I'm still very early in my pregnancy. I think 6 months is ok to begin shopping for small things and necessities like diapers and wipes. Maybe do a big haul after your shower for the items you didn't receive?

I started soon as i had my first scan, I couldnt help itt! only got little bits in such as clothes dummies etc. 28 weeks exact now still havnt got pram or moses basket etc, planning on getting that in next few weeks . My other halfs mum said to wait till im near to due date before getting anything even clothes, because thats what she did:/. but if ur exited go ahead its not easy to hold exitement back for others! xx

I'm going to buy some neutral things after my 8 week appointment like a diaperbag, neutral clothes, stuff like that. And then at 16 weeks when we find out the gender we'll start buying everything else. If I get something for my shower that I already have I'll just return it and use the gift card on diapers or whatever I still need to get

I'm 31 weeks and haven't bought one thing myself . But I've been collecting items that people have given to me second hand . Also waiting for my shower then seeing what I'll need after that . It's in 3 weeks 😊

I've only bought clothes (as soon as I found out the gender) because I have a certain taste in clothes anyway. Also I'm waiting until after my baby shower to fill in the blanks

I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow and only have clothes, stroller/car seat, and her sleeper. I plan on getting all the odds and ends in these next few weeks. I didn't have a baby shower so it's hard thinking of everything to get which is why I waited plus I'm a procrastinator lol
