When did your baby start smiling???

Mine is 6 weeks today and only started opening up her mouth big and more smiling with her eyes in the past two days. I was worried also but when they make that first sweet little smile it will light up your whole day!!!

7 weeks started opening his mouth big like wants to talk, makes cute grins like he wants to smile and smiles with his eyes. Actually has been going on probably since 6 weeks. He is now 8 weeks 3 days old and I believe just shy of 8 weeks he gave a big intentional smile and ever since then even though he just stares at you and is serious most of the time, he now has grins and sweet smiles!!! They say when they start they do it all the time. My baby was 2 weeks early which is why he didn't officially start smiling til now is what Dr told me, and she's happy with his development and timing of 8 week smiles!

7 to 8 weeks. It's copying smiles at this stage so make sure you do big smiles at your little one, and anytime from 6 weeks they should pick it up

My boys first intentional smile was yesterday at 4wks 4days. He has smiled everytime ive spoken to him today and kept eye contact so I'm sure it's intentional.

I swear today I had a real smile when we were playing! I was talking to him and got close to his face and it seemed like it was an intentional smile. But that's the Only time it seemed intentional. He's 2 days shy of a month!
