I just recently watched "The Business of Giving Birth" on Netflix due to the popularity and mass recommendations I've seen about it on here and holy cow I had no idea how weird the US birthing system is compared to the rest of the world. I'm not sure if I want to have a home birth for my next baby but I'm considering looking more into birthing centers and midwives now that I actually know what they are and that all this stuff isn't as scary as you think.
