Hemorrhoid help!?

Ok so I noticed a hemorrhoid on Sunday evening and woke up Monday morning with it so bad I could hardly walk. I've been using prep H, tucks pads & ice packs. How long until I get relief? Do I need to be doing anything different?

Buy a pregnancy belly support belt. It'll take some pressure off of that area.

Someone on a different post said try witch hazel on a cotton ball it helped with the pain!

I got a prescription cream from my doctor and it took the pain away in 5 to 10 minutes after applying it.

And I fill the tub with about an inch of hot water just enough to sit in to give my bum some relief

It's going to take a long week or two... sorry I know it's a pain in the ... make sure you drink a lot of water, avoid anything that will cause constipation and move a lot.
