cervix check?
I'm 36w5d. My doctor was going to check my cervix today but didn't because I haven't had any contractions.
My worry is:
This is my second baby. With first baby my water broke, I had a c section 2 hours later, and I NEVER felt any contractions. Even at the hospital a nurse asked me if I could feel them because she could see them on the monitor and I felt nothing. How do I know I'm not having contractions already and just can't feel them?
My baby balls up all the time and makes my stomach tight, but not all over. Usually only one side.
Should I have my doctor check my cervix next week? I'm having another c section but would still like to know if I'm likely to go into labor before I'm scheduled for surgery on 2/10.
I'm worried that the fact I'm not feeling contractions means nothing and maybe I should have my cervix checked
