And for the sake of your relationship with your husband you cannot boycott his family functions.

1. His mother is passive aggressive and always asks you when you are going to get a "real" job. (I make more money than her son!)

2. His brothers always try to belittle you and throw in really rude comments about anything and everything while you are around

3. His nieces and nephews always tell you what their parents say about you whenever they see you (They are young they don't know any better)

4. His family has insulted your family on many occasions

5. His family feeds off of negativity and ignore the positive aspects in life

6. You are pregnant with your first child

7. You have been part of this family for almost a decade so you know nothing is going to change

What would you say to these people? I am normally non-confrontational but I am not going to stand by and let these assholes try to pull this shit with my daughter, whether she can understand what they are saying or not
