Kids after marriage

How long did you wait after getting married to have kids??

I'm really wanting to wait a year or two to enjoy married life before bringing kids into our relationship.

Everyone is telling me I will get bored st home alone (stay at home wife) and will end up having kids a few months into the marriage.

We have also been together for nearly 5 years.. so it's not like we NEED time to ourself lol I just want it. Married in our new house alone for a while sounds nice :)
