first cycle clomid- tips pls!!

I just started my period today so starting 59 mg clomid on day 5. Any advice/tips? Scared of the side effects. Got pre seed and some fertile cm to help combat any dryness that it may cause. Have my OPKS ready! I ovulate on my own anyway around cd 18/19, my doctor is hoping this will help ovulate sooner and produce better quality eggs, especially since I'm working with one blocked tube.
