organic formula?!

We've been struggling with constipation issues since starting formula.... looking for an organic formula that might not cause this? Ideas? Or is this the normal with formula fed babies?

I've been using "baby's only organic" by "natures one".

Also, I know links don't post in here but google "foodbabe organic formula". An article should pop up from foodbabe.com that is the whole gigantic and well-researched article regarding which organic formulas are the best/safest.

I decided on natures one because it's a family farm in the U.S.  They take an extra step to remove traces of arsenic in their rice for their rice syrup. In the DHA added formula they source the DHA from eggs instead of using a synthetic from China. And no palm oil!  I've heard good things about Holle brand as well but it's European and not readily available here where I live.

Check out the article! I felt a lot better about my decision after I read it. We started supplementing around week 2 or 3. By week 12 she's was 100% formula fed. No problems other than slight constipation as she adjusted to 100% formula.

I also give her a daily probiotic with her formula. I used to use Dr. Jarrows's vegan drops from newborn through five months old. My store stopped carrying it so I switched her to "garden of life" "raw probiotic kids". It's sourced from raw fruits and veggies and includes prebiotics which feed the probiotics. Love it!

I feel the probiotics help her digestive system process the formula. There's also studies that claim it can help with immune system etc.  she will be 7 months next week and has never been sick. Except for a stuffy nose around Xmas.

Don't have an answer about the organic helping, but formula does make that happen.
