What is this pain?

Question

I'm 21 weeks. Since 15 weeks I've been getting this strong pain lower right side between my hip and below my belly button area. Only on one side. It feels like burning or like my skin is being ripped apart. But the area is not red or showing any signs of this. At first I thought it was the baby. But baby has move up from that area. It hurts so bad when I cough or sneeze. Sometimes I can't lift my leg without screaming in pain. What is this pain?

I asked my Dr when it first started and she said round ligament pain. But I just thought that would have passed by now. I never see or hear anyone else double over in pain. 😢

I also felt that at the site of an old small scar from a surgery. If you have any scars they can burn when they stretch out. No fun. Hope it gets better soon!

Dr will likely tell you its "round ligament pain". Ive been told thia numerous times during both my pregancies prior to this one. If they cant identify a specific cause they jump to sciatica or round ligament pain. Im sorry youre going thru that. Ive been there. I just started heating, icing, hot bath, tylenol as much as possible to alleviate.

I'm not sure, I've never experienced that with either pregnancies. I would definitely call your doctor!
