Who was a first time Mom that had a successful stripping/sweeping of membranes?

I'm a first time mom getting mine stripped/swept Friday at 39+1, and I want to know who has had it work! Comment too if it did work!

Lost my mucus plug a week after then a week after that i had my baby at 39 weeks

I had it done and it did not work... my baby was posterior, and did not want to come out of my narrow hips... I think it didn't work because of how she was positioned...she never ended up descending, and I labored hardcore for 38 hours and ended up with a c-section.... I think it works better when baby is more cooperative in the positioning, and closer to ready to make an appearance..

I had it done at 400pm oct 18th 2013 went into labor at 10am the 19th had him at 9:24pm the 20th on his due date!!
