After my daughter's stump fell off and bellybutton healed,  bath time became every night routine . Her skin gets lotion ed every night and she's very soft.
Bath time routine every night, helped with night sleeping quite a lot

1-2x a week with a wash cloth 'bath' for spit up or whatever else might get into baby folds. 2 1/2mos usually don't get 'dirty'
